City of Fashn – main market – Beni Suef
He is Ali Shamardal ibn Muhamad bin Idrees bin Muhamad Al Mughazee. His lineage goes back to the Imam Al Hussein grandson of the Prophetﷺ.
It was the great fortune of Al Fashn to have such a pious believer and hero to be buried there. He passed in the year 630 AH when he was 118 years of age. He, his father, and brother Muhammad were buried in the same place (may God be pleased with them all).
