(His grave is located in his mosque that lies at the intersection of al-Azhar Street and Port Sa’id Street)
He is the disciple of Yusuf al-Agamy and fellow mystic and became the order’s leader after him in Egypt and its villages. People from all regions would go to him, seeking his aid. He had a splendid countenance and was perfect in both knowledge and deeds.
He died in 797 AH.
