He is the Sayyid Muhammad Abu al-Naja commonly known as Sayyid Mujahid. Living in the twelfth century AH, he was a successor to the spirit of Sayyid Ahmed al-Badawi and the first Shaykh of the Ahmadi Mosque in Egypt as well as the head of the counsel of scholars that presided over the mosque. Amongst his works is the renowned commentary on the “Ajroomiya”. He (may God be pleased with him) took the spiritual path of Sayyid Ahmed al-Badawi until he excelled in character and behavior thus becoming a successor from among Badawi’s successors know as a Saint whose supplications where always heard and responded to.
